École de Paris
École de Paris of School van Parijs was niet één kunststroming of instelling, maar verwijst naar het belang van Parijs als centrum van de westerse kunst in de 20e eeuw. Tussen 1900 en 1960 trok de stad kunstenaars uit de hele wereld en werd het een centrum van artistieke activiteit. École de Paris werd gebruikt om deze losse gemeenschap te beschrijven, vooral van niet-Franse kunstenaars, gecentreerd in de cafés, salons en gedeelde ateliers en galeries van Montparnasse.
