Two line cut, chair worked crystal art-object, model 3342, expertly designed by the renowned Tapio Wirkkala in 1953. Crafted with utmost care by the skilled artisans of the Iittala glassworks between 1953 and 1959.

This beautiful object was made in two sizes (14 and 23 cm), this being being a rare complete set of both sizes. During the creation process, as the crystal material glowed with warmth, the bowl gracefully embraced its final shape, reminiscent of a shell. Adding to its allure, the underside of the object features meticulous hand-engraved horizontal lines, lending it a subtle textured elegance.

Marking its authenticity, the side displays the signature of Tapio Wirkkala, inscribed in diamondpen. These fine examples of model 3342 remains in good original condition, a testimony to its enduring beauty and careful preservation.
